Library friends and board members “sparked joy” this week when they arrived at the library with brushes and pails and “Bert and Ernie” to help tidy up the library. We hit everything from the baseboards to the awning.
Thank you Bob and Mary, Jane, Jennette, Tricia, Rogene, Ingrid and Linda! Thanks also to the person who took it upon themselves to trim around the Redbud on the patio.
With your help we’re on track to have a limited reopening beginning Monday, June 22.
To fresh starts!
Until further notice, our new hours are:
Monday – 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday – 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Wednesday – 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Thursday – 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
If you’d rather not come into the library, no worries! We’re still offering curbside/home delivery. You can access our online catalog to search for items. Call the library at 620-298-3163 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
While we can’t go back to business as usual, we do invite you in to check out materials and to use the computer and printer.
We’ll ask that you maintain social distancing, use hand sanitizer, wear a mask to protect others, and to limit your time inside (15-20 minutes) The library will provide disposable masks for adults.
Sidebar: A StoryWalk™ in Lions Park is in the works! We’ll “Say Something” soon about the featured book by children’s book author, Peter Reynolds ;~)
Summer Reading will look different as we’ll be going to an online program with outdoor-only activities. More to come!
